    • guided tours: 1 IFMGA guide per a maximum of 6 participants.
  • What equipment do I need to participate?

Most programs require appropriate technical and safety equipment, such as ski touring gear, an avalanche safety set, a helmet, and suitable clothing. A detailed list of mandatory and recommended equipment is provided for each workshop, tour, or race individually.

  • Can I participate without my own equipment?

Partially. Each participant must have basic personal equipment. Rental of certain equipment items is possible only with prior notice and subject to availability. We recommend checking this before registering.

  • What happens if weather or snow conditions are not suitable?

Safety has absolute priority. The organizer reserves the right to:

    • change the route or destination,
    • shorten or adapt the program,
    • carry out an alternative program,
    • or cancel an individual activity.
  • How does registration work and when is it considered valid?

Registration is considered valid after submission of the online registration form and payment of the registration fee (full amount or deposit, if applicable). An unpaid registration is not valid.

  • What are the cancellation conditions for participants?

All information regarding registration conditions, cancellations, and possible changes is available on the Registration page, where the current general terms and conditions for individual programs are published.

  • Is participation insured?

Participation takes place in a natural high-mountain environment where objective risks exist. Accident insurance for mountain activities is recommended (e.g. Alpine Association insurance). Participants take part at their own risk and are required to follow the instructions of the guides.
