Registration for the Bohinj Ski Touring Festival is open and available exclusively through this page. Before registering, please review the program options, participation requirements, and the cancellation policy.

  • How do I register for the Ski Touring Festival Bohinj?

    1. Registration in the Njuko system

    To register for the Ski Touring Festival Bohinj 2026, click the REGISTER button.
    You will be redirected to the official Njuko registration system.

    2. Activity selection

    \n

    In the registration system, first select the main activity you wish to register for (e.g. ski touring race, trail run or workshops).

    There you can select various activity combinations and create your registration according to your preferences.

    4. Discounts for combined registrations

    • Registration for the ski touring race or trail run grants a 10% discount on all workshops.
    • \n
    • Workshop registration grants a 10% discount on the trail run or ski touring race.
    • \n
    \n

    Discounts are applied automatically when selecting the appropriate package in the Njuko system.

    5. Completing the registration form

    \n

    Fill in the registration form with your personal details.
    After completing all required fields, click NEXT STEP.

    \n

    You will then be shown the general terms and conditions, which must be read and accepted.
    Once confirmed, your registration will be added to the shopping cart, where you can edit or remove it if needed.

    If you have a discount code, enter it in the Enter discount code field in the cart and click Apply code.
    Then proceed to payment by clicking PAYMENT.

    6. Private area

    \n

    In the confirmation email you will receive access to the private area, where you can:

    • review your registration,
    • \n
    • modify selected activities or packages,
    • \n
    • manage your registration even after completion, in accordance with the terms.

    In case of activity changes:

      \n
    • if the newly selected activity is cheaper, the system will automatically refund the difference,
    • \n
    • if the newly selected activity is more expensive, the system will automatically issue an additional invoice payable via the registration system.

The entry fee is paid online via the Njuko platform using the integrated Stripe payment system.

mportant Notice

On the day of the event, race entries can be purchased at Joža Ažman Cultural Centre during registration hours:
– Friday (16:30–20:00)
– Saturday (9:00–12:00)

Entries will be available for: the ski mountaineering race, winter duathlon, winter trail run (6 km / 12 km / 18 km), and Vertical Bohinj. Registration for workshops and ski touring tours will not be possible on the day of the event.

Races & workshops

As part of the Bohinj Ski Touring Festival, you can take part in the following workshops / tours / races:

During registration, you can also choose different combinations and take part in both workshops and races.

GENERAL RULES FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND DELIVERY OF WORKSHOPS / GUIDED TOURS

  • Organizer and general provisions

    Ski touring workshops and guided tours within TSF Bohinj are organized by the technical partner JATrail d.o.o. in cooperation with licensed IFMGA mountain guides.
    All activities take place within Triglav National Park, therefore all nature protection regulations are strictly respected.

    By registering, participants fully accept these terms and conditions.

  • Registration and payment

    • Registration is valid after submitting the online form and completing payment.
    • Full payment or advance payment is required upon registration confirmation.
    • Unpaid registrations are not considered valid.
  • Participation requirements

    Participants must meet the following conditions:

    • adequate physical fitness for 4–8 hours of activity in alpine terrain
    • good skiing technique in unprepared terrain (for advanced programs)
    • compliance with guide instructions
    • minimum age of 18 (minors only with parental consent and guide approval)
    • no health conditions that could compromise safety

    The guide reserves the right to exclude any participant who does not meet the requirements or endangers the group, without refund.

  • Equipment

    Participants must have appropriate ski touring and safety equipment:

    • ski touring skis or splitboard
    • skins, ski crampons, touring boots
    • helmet, crampons, ice axe
    • avalanche safety kit (transceiver, probe, shovel)
    • appropriate winter clothing and basic first aid kit

    Equipment rental is only possible with prior arrangement.

  • Safety and responsibility

    • All programs take place in alpine terrain with objective hazards.
    • Participants take part at their own risk.
    • The guide makes all safety-related decisions.
    • Participants must strictly follow guide instructions.
  • Program changes due to conditions

    Due to weather, snow conditions or safety reasons, the organizer may modify routes, duration, starting points or cancel activities.

    Changes made for safety reasons are not grounds for refunds.

  • Cancellation by the participant

    • Up to 21 days before the event: 50% refund
    • 21–14 days before the event: 25% refund
    • Less than 14 days before: no refund
    • No-show: no refund
  • Cancellation by the organizer

    The organizer may cancel the program due to extreme conditions, insufficient registrations, guide illness or access restrictions.

    In such cases, participants receive a refund or a voucher for a future date.

  • Insurance

    Participants are advised to have valid mountain accident insurance.

  • Photography and promotion

    By participating, individuals agree to the use of photos and videos taken during the event for promotional purposes, unless stated otherwise in writing.

  • Personal data protection (GDPR)

    Personal data is used exclusively for event organization and legal processing and is not shared with third parties unless required by law.

  • Final provisions

    • By registering, participants confirm acceptance of all terms.
    • These conditions apply to all TSF Bohinj programs.

GENERAL RULES FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND DELIVERY OF RACES

Registration for the competitive part of the Bohinj Ski Touring Festival is available exclusively through the online platform, with payment by credit card. On-site registration will be possible only if a specific distance is not sold out. The organizer will make the final decision after online registration closes.

By submitting the registration and paying the entry fee, participants accept the general terms and the race rules and agree to participate at their own risk (for minors, responsibility is assumed by parents/guardians, who sign the registration form).

Paid entry fees are non-refundable, except in cases specified by the rules (medical reasons, force majeure, pregnancy policy).

Registration cannot be transferred to 2027.

Changing the selected distance is possible only until 2 Mar 2026. After that date, changes will be possible only on-site at the event with an additional fee of EUR 10. If transferring to a longer distance, the price difference must be paid. Participants manage distance changes within their profile.

Cancellation of participation

Participants who cannot take part due to medical reasons and have already paid the entry fee may request a partial refund by contacting info@trailrun.si. The runner must provide official medical documentation (report, doctor’s certificate, etc.). The following applies:

  • 90% refund if the refund request is submitted before 15 Jan 2026.
  • 70% refund if the refund request is submitted between 15 Jan 2026 and 1 Feb 2026.
  • 50% refund if the refund request is submitted between 1 Feb 2026 and 15 Feb 2026.
  • No refunds are possible after 15 Feb 2026, regardless of the reason for not participating.

If a runner does not participate, they forfeit the start package and all other runner benefits, regardless of the reason.

Shipping of T-shirts and gift bags

Souvenirs (T-shirt, gift bag with products) are available only to participants who attend the race weekend in person. Collection is possible during bib pick-up hours. You may collect the package even if you are registered and later do not take part in the race.

We do not ship uncollected packages by mail.

General race rules

  • Personal responsibility and physical fitness

    All participants compete at their own risk and must be physically prepared for the selected discipline.

  • Weather conditions

    Events take place in all weather conditions unless participant safety is compromised.

  • Courses and markings

    Routes are clearly marked. Leaving the marked route or using shortcuts results in disqualification.

  • Mandatory equipment

    All competitors must carry the mandatory equipment specified in the description of each discipline.

    Equipment checks may be carried out randomly before the start or during the competition. In case of adverse weather conditions, the organizer reserves the right to require additional mandatory equipment, which may be announced shortly before the start.

  • Safety and medical support

    Medical services, rescue teams and mountain rescue units will be present on the courses. Marshals (volunteers, firefighters) will also be positioned at key points to ensure safety and guide participants.

  • Aid stations

    Aid stations will be available along the course, where participants can get food and drinks and refill their bottles.

    Disposable cups will not be provided. Participants must use their own cup, bottle or hydration system. Waste may only be disposed of at aid stations.

  • Penalties and disqualification

    Disqualification or time penalties may be imposed due to:

    • failure to follow the marked course or use of shortcuts,
    • missing or incomplete mandatory equipment,
    • littering outside designated areas,
    • use of shortcuts, unmarked paths, or arriving at a checkpoint or aid station from the wrong direction,
    • use of transportation during the race,
    • failure to assist a participant in distress,
    • insulting or threatening organizers or volunteers,
    • continuing the race after exceeding the time limit.

    Disqualification may be immediate or imposed after the event.

  • Event cancellation due to extraordinary circumstances

    In case the event is cancelled due to force majeure or extraordinary circumstances, the organizer commits to refunding the entry fee under the following conditions:

    • Event cancellation 4 months before the event: 90% refund.
    • Event cancellation up to 2 months before the event: 70% refund and a 20% discount for the following year.
    • Event cancellation up to 14 days before the event: 60% refund and a 20% discount for the following year.
    • Event cancellation less than 14 days before the event: no refunds.

    The organizer will also offer the option to transfer the entry fee to the 2027 event.

  • Photography and filming

    By confirming their registration, participants agree to the use of photographs and video recordings taken during the event for promotional and archival purposes of the organizer.

  • Communication and notifications

    The organizer will inform participants via the email address provided during registration. Participants are required to follow official communications, as they contain key information about the event.

Age categories

Awards will be presented to the overall winners in each discipline (1st, 2nd, 3rd place women and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place men) and to the winners (1st place) in the following age categories:

Women under 30 Men under 30 Born 1996 or later
Women 30–40 Men 30–40 Born 1986 to 1995
Women 40–50 Men 40–50 Born 1976 to 1985
Women 50–60 Men 50–60 Born 1966 to 1975
Women 60+ Men 60+ Born 1965 or earlier

For the Vertical uphill race, awards will be presented to overall winners only (1st, 2nd, 3rd place women and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place men).
